Who needs the Gallup Poll! Today, at a press conference in Davidson, NC, Cairn Studio, Ltd.'s three world renowned artists Tom Clark, Tim Wolfe and David Merck, publicly made known their decision to conduct the Cairn Campaign 2000 "Gnome Poll". The Cairn artists have enlisted the help of the more than 4,000 bonafide Cairn Dealers from across the country to serve as precincts in the polling of the American Electorate. Voters cast their ballots at Cairn precincts by acquiring, then registering, their favorite candidate. Staff members at Gnome Poll headquarters will use Cairn Studio's national artwork registration data to continually tabulate and update voter response, thus giving the American public the truest picture yet of this year's presidential race. The commemorative Campaign 2000 series consists of Governor George Bush, Senator John McCain, Vice-President Al Gore and Senator Bill Bradley, each riding their party's mascot to victory. Soon, a reform party candidate is almost certain to emerge from the pack and join the political fray. Also included in this collectible series is a comprehensive environmental artwork by David Merck which replicates the old fashioned Lincoln/Douglas era debating platform right down to the rough cut wooden plank flooring, drapes, banners, and party emblems. After all, no political candidate is complete without his platform. When questioned as to their favorite candidates, Tom Clark and Tim Wolfe replied, "Each candidate received the same meticulous attention to detail, although some were a bit more troublesome to sculpt than others," but neither would comment as to who would be our next President. Instead, they will let the voters decide. The Gnome Poll is certain to be the definitive gauge by which this year's Presidential hopefuls measure their success.
